Unmanned vehicles are in the news every week for successful and sometimes catastrophic missions. Multispectral imaging will increase the accuracy of input to the control algorithms of these systems. In addition to the traditional defense applications such as targeting, the ability to view individual narrow wavebands can enhance subtle conditions, making the invisible obvious, and neutralizing the danger before adversaries even know they are exposed.
In addition to essentials such as targeting, our technologies can distinguish other changes in the environment that will indicate the presence or absence of friend or foe by uncovering trace elements left only as residue from past actions.
At a more basic level, it is often simply sufficient to differentiate between artificial materials and their natural surroundings. Even clever camouflage can be discovered using multispectral and polarization imaging techniques.
FluxData multispectral and tactial imaging systems are now offered in various class UAV and UGV platforms.
