The Application Engineer will be responsible for coordinating the planning, design, and installation of machinery and equipment for advanced manufacturing, using knowledge of engineering and programming, as well as sophisticated instruments, intelligent vision, precision motion control. In addition to the design and application of automation procedures, the position will include field technician responsibilities to maintain and improve implemented systems.

The Marketing and Communications Specialist is responsible for strategic planning, development, and management of marketing communications programs that promote the sale of FluxData’s high-value, complex technical products and solutions across many vertical markets. This person will support our sales and marketing team and collaborate with the management team at our Rochester, NY office.
As a FluxData Mechanical Engineer, you will work in a fast-paced, new product development environment creating a wide variety of imaging products from concept to launch and support. Your ideas will bring new products to life as you collaborate closely with our creative team of design engineers, systems engineers and project leaders to develop imaging and sensor products.
Responsibilities will include; Responsible for assembling precision opto-mechanical camera and imaging systems, Assembly and alignment of micro-optical and electro-optical sub-assemblies and some electronics assembly, Build production camera systems; assembling camera and optical assemblies, circuits and mechanical components; analyzing results
FluxData manufactures high precision opto-mechanical devices to strict tolerances, and as such, are subject to rigorous quality testing. The Senior System Test Technician will be responsible for performing daily production test and debug activities, as well as providing testing support during product development stage. The incumbent will be performing this testing, analyzing the results and presenting findings internally in both written and presentation forms. He/she will work closely with engineering, production and quality to investigate and resolve any issues, and ensure products are shipped on time to the highest standards.
This position, located in Rochester, NY, involves the planning, specification, and creation of software application solutions, upgrades, and revisions related to our color measurement systems. This is a position which requires expert-level programming skills, superior organizational skills, and strong communication skills. The ideal candidate will have advanced programming skills, familiarity with the practical and theoretical aspects of color measurement, experience with optical engineering software, and experience with software control of scientific hardware.
